Security Reporting Engineer

About the Role:

Enforces application security in all phases of the software development life cycle. Works closely with team members to define application security best practices, performs software architecture and design reviews, and supports the identification, interpretation, and remediation of vulnerabilities across a variety of applications, programming languages, and platforms.

• Manage large data sets and producing reports and visualizations for stakeholders/management.
• Supports the design and implementation of desktop images and HW BIOS updates.
• Provides Tier 3 support for other EPA teams on end-user HW (desktops, laptops, etc), along with Windows Server Management responsibilities.
• Manages and deploys specialized SW and/or configurations for EPA end-users.
• Evaluate new technologies and processes that enhance security capabilities.
• Assists Enterprise Engineers with patching and updating EPA-approved applications.
• Coordinates with Tier 4 vendors as needed.
• Supports the development and publication of customer requested reports and datasets. This includes requirements gathering and understanding of underlying data.
• Coordinates with local stakeholders to customize activities at the local level.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other Engineering or Technical discipline or equivalent relevant experience. Master’s Degree preferred.
• 8-15 years of experience as an Application Security Developer, Application Security Analyst, or equivalent. Can substitute degree with years of experience.

Other Job Specific Skills

• Experience managing large data sets, and producing reports and visualizations.
• Tools experience required QLIK, SCCM/MECM, Belmanage, SQL, Flexera data Platform.
• Experience as a team lead, including experience managing customer requests and expectations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Clearance Required: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Suitability.
