Description
Position Overview
  • Provide administrative support to the Dean and Directors within assigned departments.
Position Responsibilities / Functions
  • Assist deans/directors with administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, reserving rooms, preparing expense reports, arranging travel, handing mail, ordering office supplies, and assisting with accreditation visits.
  • Assist with meeting preparation support to include presentation materials, handouts, agendas, and meeting minutes.
  • Generate correspondence and documentation to include letters, memos, forms, policies and procedures (includes handling of confidential information)
  • Assist and advise the deans and directors in the management of their schedules, handle calls from both internal and external sources, and organize his/her incoming mail and email inbox.
  • Organize the logistics for conferences and events
  • Support curriculum changes, modifications, etc.
  • Maintain and organize files that relate to the student academic experience
  • Maintain regular and consistent contact with deans, directors and academic coordinators.
  • Complete internal and external paperwork, make decisions and generate reports as needed.
  • Submit important dates to Dunwoody Dates
  • Support with faculty scheduling
  • Support industry advisory committees: update database, take meeting notes, assist with report generation
  • Assist with miscellaneous tasks assigned (such as: business and industry forms, summer calendar collection, listing of accomplishments for academic year, post and file articulation agreements, mail distribution, etc.)
  • Maintain and coordinate program memberships and subscriptions
