We are a hospitality entity looking for an Accounting Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the accounting department working with accounts receivables, payroll and performing other relating accounting tasks.

The responsibilities as an Accounting Specialist include:

• Generating invoices and account statements.
• Performing account reconciliations.
• Maintaining accounts receivable records.
• Producing monthly financial and management reports.
• Investigating and resolving any irregularities or inquiries.
• Assisting in general financial management and analysis.
• Payroll processing includes tips, garnishments, leaves and other deductions.
• Address and resolve employee complaints relating to payroll.
• Prepare reports relevant to payroll to assist in overtime reporting, budgeting, etc.

Special Qualifications:

• Self-motivation to complete tasks efficiently and work independently.
• Knowledgeable in accounting, labor law and taxes.
• Organizational skills along with attention to detail.
• Excellent coordination, manual dexterity, and ability to work rapidly at times.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with members and other departments.
• Ability to sit at a desk all day.
• Willingness to learn and adhere to club policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Previous experience working in an accounting department.
