Duram Search Partners is Hiring a Trust Administrator Near Wilmington, DE

Excellent opportunity to join a growing company in the Wilmington area.

The Trust Administrator is responsible for servicing and maintaining existing relationships with investment management clients, trust clients, beneficiaries, and other interested parties in partnership with the accounts' designated Trust Officer.

Primary Accountabilities

Client Relationship and Trust Administration

  • Collaborates with the Trust Officer to maintain up-to-date information on beneficiaries, and their changing needs and circumstances to carry out the Bank’s fiduciary duties and provide superior client service.
  • Recommends appropriate financial products and services tailored to meet clients’ objectives, tax and estate needs, risk tolerance, and asset allocations.
  • Maintains contact with existing clients, beneficiaries, and referral sources to deliver agreed upon services, address customer inquiries and resolve servicing issues.
  • Interprets trust documents and client account agreements with an eye for detail.
  • Exercises judgment in processing client requests and make recommendations for fiduciary approvals above specified limits.
  • Strictly adheres to compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with Bank and regulatory standards.

Position Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in trust administration.
  • 3 or more years previous experience in trust administration (advanced designations and/or preparatory work or guidance may sometimes be assessed in lieu of experience).
  • Ability to read and interpret trust and legal documents.
  • Demonstrated success working in team environment.
  • Ability to meet time constraints without constant supervision.
  • Professionalism and courtesy in dealing with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to articulate ideas concisely and work in a dynamic and fast past environment.
  • Proficiency with trust accounting systems.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to instruct others, interpret documents, and write reports and correspondence.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
