This Role:

Our team is currently seeking a collaborative Quality Engineer based at our production facility in Huntsville, AL. This will be a full-time, on-site role on the day shift (5a - 3:30pm Mon-Thurs and half days Fris) reporting to the Quality Manager.

What You Will Do:

The Quality Engineer assists the Quality Manager in ensuring Duravent products meet company, customer, and industry standards by managing/developing/implementing/communicating/maintaining the Huntsville production facility’s quality management system.

How You Will Do It:

• Manages part inspection process including work instruction, reports, and audits
• Develops/performs experiments applying factorial techniques
• Analyzes data by completing hypothesis, normal distribution, and process capability tests
• Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing/summarizing data and making recommendations

What We’re Looking For:

Candidates who offer:

• Current U.S. work authorization without requiring future sponsorship (required)
• Minimum 3 years of professional quality experience in a manufacturing environment (required)
• Previous experience with ISO 9001 requirements (certification preferred, prior compliance and document writing experience required)
• Basic knowledge of operating measurement equipment (required), CMM preferred
• Proficient in MS Office suite (required)
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferred)

Work Environment:

Candidate will need ability to be safely mobile throughout plant, including standing, bending, and occasional lifting. Due to the metal nature of materials used in this facility, PPE will include steel toed shoes, protective eyewear, and arm sleeves.
