Our client is seeking a Nurse Coordinator to join their team. The selected team member will be responsible for ensuring delivery of quality community-based services to their assigned team. Our client boasts a stellar benefit package and competitive wages.Job Duties
- Complete, maintain, and monitor employee attendance and hours; submit when due to payroll.
- Create employee requisitions. Interview, hire, and train employees.
- Work with Directors to ensure accurate billing data for the area; including by not limited to:
- Evaluating staffing in locations to assure all needs are met using funding levels provided by the State.
- Ensuring daily attendance meets service authorization criteria.
- Evaluate that all EVV checks in and outs are present.
- Monitor monthly attendance for all services provided to ensure billing does not result in repayment to the State.
- Empower direct reports to think outside the box while meeting new challenges.
- Assure that Agency policies and procedures are adhered to including but not limited to: abuse and neglect, financial documentation, and human resources.
- Check and respond to emails and voicemails within 24 hours of receiving them.
- Contact Guardians and families at least one time a month, unless they specify different frequencies.
- Visit each environment, assigned to team, a minimum of three times a month.
- Complete all required documentation thoroughly and accurately within established timelines.
- Approve or initiate maintenance and vehicle requests.
- Check and submit employee mileage, strategizing efficient use of area vehicles.
- Establish and maintain consistent lines of communication with all stakeholders.
- Rotate on-call responsibilities with other team members.
- Cover vacant shifts when needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent degree required.
- RN or LPN Degree required.
- One year of management experience in community-based services preferred.
- Must possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license, and pass a driving record check.
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite and all Agency required systems.
- Must be able to lift 70 pounds.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, walk, sit, stand, climb, push, carry, and grasp.
