Silicone Filling Line Operator

Anvil Paints and Coatings, a trusted manufacturer of specialty paints and coatings for the professional painting contractor, is looking for a Silicone Filling Line Operator to join our team in Largo, FL . This is a full-time position with excellent benefits and growth potential with starting wages at $18-20 per hour based on experience.

Position Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the manufacturing of quality coatings
• Cleaning manufacturing equipment such as washing tanks, mixing equipment, valves, and measuring containers
• Identify and safely handle hazardous and flammable materials used in paint manufacturing daily
• Sampling, printing labels, product packaging, and adjusting batches according to batch ticket

Position Requirements:

• 1 to 3 years in batch making or compounding experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Work with the team to complete filling operations up to and including setup and cleaning
• Understanding of basic math skills and ability to accurately measure material weights
• Must have good organizational skills and be detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication
• Forklift experience preferred
• Must be able to endure standing for long periods of time and being able to lift up to 50 pounds
