Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service through various channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions. Your role will involve resolving customer inquiries and issues, managing orders, and ensuring timely delivery of products. You will also be responsible for supporting the warehouse team in receiving and shipping products.
Duties
- Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage customer orders from receipt to shipment, ensuring accurate processing and timely delivery.
- Assist customers with pricing, product information, and availability.
- Provide guidance on transportation options and logistics.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure efficient material handling and dispatching.
- Update customer records and resolve any discrepancies.
- Identify and escalate any issues or concerns that may impact customer satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, including features, benefits, and specifications.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of our products and services, including our supply chain and transportation planning processes.
- Utilize our systems to track orders, manage inventory, and analyze customer data.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service or customer-facing role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Knowledge of transportation management, materials handling, and supply chain processes.
