Job Description -

POSITION OBJECTIVE: To safely transport carpet rolls and hard surfaces from trailers to specified bins, and from bins to load customer vehicles.

Essential Functions:

● Retrieve roll or bin location

● Use RF unit to determine destination for roll

● Place roll in specified location (bin or trailer)

● Tape holes or loose ends in the plastic covering the roll

● Take lift truck to battery station for battery replacement as needed

● Raise/Lower dock plate

● Use red cone system for full or empty trailers

● Must be able to load/unload RDC route trailers

● Perform other duties as assigned by Manager

Physical Requirements:

● Must be able to sit or stand on lift truck for the entire shift.

● Must be able to mount/dismount lift truck on an average 15 times per hour while using three points of contactto lift self to the cage.

● Must be able to work in a warehouse environment which may be quite warm or cool.

● Must be able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs., up to 20 times an hour for 8 hours.

Safety/Training Requirements:

● Must complete Lift Truck Operator training program

● Must complete all SAFE required training, quality training and/or other job-related training

● Must wear required PPE

● Must understand and follow traffic flow for safe operation

● Observe/Obey all distribution safety rules
