DXagency is Hiring an Account Director Ecommerce Near Miami, FL

The Account Ecommerce Director position is a senior member of the DX team and provides strategic guidance, client relationship management, and scope of work delivery oversight. The Account Ecommerce Director leads a cross-functional team making sure that all projects are delivered on time, on budget and at the very highest level of quality.

Ideal candidates will be leaders that are driven, organized, collaborative and hold themselves and their teams to the highest standards of executional excellence. They must be ready to take on complex and fast-paced projects across clients who range in size from Fortune 500 companies to starts up/challenger brands. This position requires a steady demeanor, attention to detail and a willingness to move between leading high-level strategy and getting into the weeds when needed. Cross functional marketing experience desired with working knowledge of CRM, SEO/SEM, Creative, Ecommerce, Paid Media, Organic Social and Research/Insights.

Responsibilities

· Cultivate and build client relationships on a daily basis providing strategic input while guiding internal teams towards the achievement of client objectives

· Serve as the point of contact for all SOW, status, billing questions, etc

· Client P&L management, revenue forecasts and growth through up-selling/cross-selling agency services

· Detailed client mapping including stakeholders, motivations, pain points, etc

· Develop broad industry expertise for given clients to understand specific business nuance and generate new ideas to enhance client performance.

· Overall marketing, account & Ecommerce strategy development rallying internal stakeholders around client challenges and solutions

· Identify best and new practices, which drive efficiency and effectiveness of the agency to deliver against client objectives

· Lead team members through day-to-day tasks and tracking status against scopes of work by helping prioritize client projects, scheduling client meetings with the client, and facilitating sharing of feedback on deliverables

· On-going campaign management, analysis and optimization towards key business outcomes identifying short/long term opportunities for growth

· Foster superior collaborative relationships with all departments in the agency understanding the strategic goals of the account and clearly articulating how each contributes to the mission

· Manage & mentor team members towards measurable career growth

· Work with internal teams for new business development identifying and pitching prospective clients

  • Develop and execute Ecommerce client projects, and assist in driving Omni Channel Marketing strategies across the portfolio of clients 
  • Lead all direct and indirect Ecommerce client projects from initial audit to project strategy, execution, and final project delivery
  • Identify, select, and deploy tools, technologies, and capabilities that enable performance and achieve clients’ goals in partnership with cross-functional development and marketing teams 
  • Push innovation boundaries to uncover incremental growth opportunities and build momentum in the organization: ensure Ecommerce is an integral part of key agency service offerings
  • Conduct service pricing and promotional activity analysis to better understand lift and return on investment across key clients and provide recommendations to grow both new and existing accounts in both size and frequency for Ecommerce related services 
  • Develop internal playbooks for optimization across Ecommerce in areas including technology services, audits and technical analyses, approaches to content strategy, optimization and testing, client category/industry specific best practices (wherever possible) 
  • Develop, retain, and recruit team talent to strengthen the overall business, as needed
  • Align Ecommerce vertical objectives with broader business goals
  • Co-Management of P&L for all Ecommerce clients and projects in tandem with Senior Account Directors 
  • Develop Annual Operating Plans to reach financial goals for the company and own all Ecommerce specific success metrics across the portfolio

Skills and Experience required

· 5-10 years of Agency or Client experience

· 5 years of direct staff management

· 5 years of Ecommerce Experience

· 3 years of proven track record in CRM or SEO

· Expert level proficiency on Shopify and Klaviyo

· Actively keeps current on digital marketing trends applying learning within existing and prospective client business

· Proven experience overseeing and growing key accounts within an organization or closing complex new business pitches 

· Experience in working with senior level client executives (including C-Suite)

· Excellent written and oral communication skills; the ability to ‘own the room’

· Outstanding interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively communicate throughout the organization, in different disciplines and levels

· Understand, navigate, coordinate and drive consensus amongst multiple business units for external partnerships

· Experience overseeing key accounts and/or new business development efforts at digital or creative agency, consultancy, or firm are preferred

· Highly organized, detail oriented and creative problem-solving skills

· Ability to interact with and manage clients with decision making responsibility

· Experience with budgets and finance savvy

· Ability to translate business and marketing requirements into viable solutions

· Bachelors in Marketing, Business, or related field.
