Responsibilities of the Mechanic and Warehouse Helper include, but are not limited to:

• Inspection and helping with repair and fabricating of a variety of industrial pumps and other rotating equipment - Includes inspecting, troubleshooting, disassembly, and repair
• Inspection and installation of equipment using manufacturer specifications ensuring proper tolerances and specifications
• Read and understand an IOM and BOM
• Help with general operations of warehouse including receiving, shipping, cleaning and organizing, and making deliveries as required
• Perform responsibilities with minimal supervision
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to all safety procedures and regulations

Qualifications of the Mechanic Helper include, but are not limited to:

• Must have mechanical experience
• Must support drug free policy
• Must have enthusiastic personality willing to learn and ready to help
• Must be customer focused and ability to work with others
• Must possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle in the United States with an acceptable driving record according to company guidelines
• Must be able to operate a forklift
• Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings, and service manuals with ability to work with basic math
• Must have ability to use a variety of hand tools and precision measuring instruments
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
• Demonstrated ability to act in a self-directed manner with no immediate supervision
• Must be willing to work indoors and outdoors as required
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds multiple times daily
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally - With assistance
• Must be able to pull or push 100 lbs. occasionally - With assistance
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
• May be exposed to elements and outdoor temperatures
• Training available

Additional Information:Physical Demand: Able to lift 20 pounds multiple times a day, lift 50 pounds without assistance and push/pull 100lbs.
Working Conditions: Warehouse and mechanical shop area with periodic opportunities to be outdoors. Warehouse and shop does not have air conditioning

Shift Time/Overtime: Day shift, part time or full time pending candidate. Overtime periodically required
Travel: Potential travel to customer sites
Education: High School Diploma
