Responsibilities of the Shop Assistant include, but are not limited to :

• Assist shop coordinators and service technicians as needed to maintain efficient shop operation.
• General shop duties including sandblasting, painting, parts washing, forklift operation.
• Assist with upkeep and maintenance of shop equipment
• Support warehouse activities including re-organizing and unloading / reloading trucks.
• Follow safety protocol and guidelines at all times.
• Work toward calibrating gas detection equipment

Qualifications of the Shop Assistant include, but are not limited to :

• Able to work in a team environment
• Prior experience with handle tools / power tools.
• Forklift operation experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.

Physical Demand : Ability to lift 45lbs

Working Conditions : Inside

Training / Certifications : Forklift certification preferred.

Shift Time / Overtime : 7 : 30AM to 4 : 30 PM

Travel : N / A

Education : High school preferred.
