Looking for an ambitious lead for a small shipping / receiving department at industrial distributor.

Responsibilities of the Shipping/Receiving Associate include, but are not limited to:

• Performing daily inventory cycle counts
• Scheduling daily drum of coolant shipments via LTL carriers
• Accepting daily deliveries from UPS, FedEx, and LTL carriers
• Assisting in loading and unloading of product from vehicles
• Opening boxes and documenting incoming product receipt into computer system
• Printing packing slips to pick, pack, and ship through UPS and FedEx manifest programs
• Keeping all bins, aisles, and storage areas clean, organized, and clearly labeled (while observing security and safety regulations)
• Determining placement of product in proper bin locations

Qualifications of the Shipping/Receiving Associate include, but are not limited to:

• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Ability to communicate effectively with trucking companies for freight pickup
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines
• Prepare and organize routine administrative paperwork
• Work well independently and with a team

Physical Demand: Mostly small items. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50lbs unassisted and up to 70lbs assisted
