Job Overview::
We are seeking a Part-Time HR Generalist to join our team and support various human resources functions. The HR Generalist will play a key role in managing employee relations, recruitment, benefits administration, and compliance, ensuring that our HR practices align with company objectives and contribute to a positive workplace culture. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional seeking a flexible, part-time role in a growing firm.
Key Responsibilities::

  • Recruitment and Onboarding::
    • Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the onboarding process for new hires.
    • Ensure a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience for all new employees, including orientation and training coordination.
  • Employee Relations::
    • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
    • Assist in resolving employee relations issues, conducting investigations as needed, and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Benefits Administration::
    • Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
    • Coordinate open enrollment and communicate benefits information to employees.
  • HR Compliance::
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation.
  • Performance Management::
    • Support the performance review process, including coordinating evaluations and tracking performance metrics.
    • Assist in developing and implementing employee development programs and training initiatives.
  • HR Reporting::
    • Prepare and analyze HR reports and metrics, providing insights to management to inform decision-making.
Qualifications::
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR Generalist role.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR software systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
