This position will require the individual to be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of package handling facilities with a primary focus on conveyor systems. This is a full-time position with daily travel and the occasional overnight stay. We provide company vehicles for daily travel that are fully stocked with tools and hardware. You will regularly be working in a 2-hour radius of our base facility while being compensated for the time of arrival to our facility and return. This individual will be paid overtime after 8 hours in a day rather than after 40-hours in week. Normal times are 8am-430pm but will vary based on the duties for that day. Dynamic Fusion is a company that offers 24-hour assistance. This would require the individual to be on-call on a rotating schedule. If chosen to join the team, you will begin to gain PTO after 60 days.
Core job duties:
· Repair and replace defective parts
· Align, test, and make necessary adjustments to equipment
· Troubleshoot and track conveyor belts to facility specifications
· Fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attach motors and gearboxes
· Perform preventive maintenance of all equipment
· Ability to adapt and custom fabricate on the fly
· Creating and maintaining a working team environment
· Responsible for safety, quality, and production with limited supervision
· Follow safety procedures
This employee will be required to have paperwork entered in a timely manner to keep the flow of invoicing at an optimal rate. Promptness, efficiency, and thoroughness are key to filling this position.
Required skills are as follows:
· Welding MIG and Stick (preferred)
· Able to read measuring devices (tape measure, calipers, square, etc.)
· Written and verbal communication
· Attention to detail
· Good with numbers
· Proper phone etiquette
· Confident in their work
