Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistic Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of logistics to ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain daily shipping and receiving schedules.

• Coordinate and schedule drivers for timely and complete deliveries.

• Assist drivers with loading and unloading materials as needed.

• Verify accuracy and completeness of Bills of Lading (BOLs).

• Conduct quality control inspections of incoming and outgoing materials.

• Communicate with Shop Foremen to provide feedback on quality control inspections.

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure all necessary materials are available for production.

• Resolve any discrepancies or issues with incoming or outgoing shipments.

• Organize and maintain shipping and receiving records.

• Collaborate with other departments to streamline logistics processes and improve efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and procedures.

• Provide training and guidance to warehouse staff as needed.

• Continuously seek opportunities to optimize logistics operations and reduce costs.

• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and shipping area.

• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.

Skills:

• Ability to develop and maintain schedules, organize records, and keep a clean and organized workspace.

• Precision in verifying Bills of Lading, conducting quality control inspections, and resolving shipment discrepancies.

• Efficiently coordinating and scheduling drivers and deliveries to ensure timely and complete shipments.

• Effective communication with drivers, shop foremen, warehouse staff, and other departments to provide feedback and collaborate on logistics processes.

• Ability to resolve discrepancies or issues with shipments and seek opportunities to optimize operations.

• Capability to assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.

• Providing training and guidance to warehouse staff.

• Understanding of logistics processes, shipping and receiving operations, and inventory management.

• Knowledge of quality control procedures and ability to conduct inspections of materials.

• Awareness and adherence to relevant safety regulations and procedures.

• Ability to work with other departments to improve logistics efficiency and streamline processes.

• Proficiency in organizing and maintaining accurate shipping and receiving records.

• Ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction for internal and external stakeholders.

• Flexibility to assist with various duties as assigned by management and to handle changes in the logistics and shop environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in logistics or a related field.

• Experience in scheduling, inventory management, and quality control.

• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move materials as needed (typically up to 50 lbs).

• Capability to work in a warehouse environment, which may include exposure to various weather conditions and temperatures.

Other Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license.

• Forklift certification is a plus.

• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
