Requirements / Qualifications

Registered Behavior Technician Certification (Training and Exam)

Must have experience working with special needs students in a classroom setting. All candidates are required to submit to pre-hire screening including: DOJ and BFI fingerprinting, drug test, and we require a current TB test.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients
- Implement evidence-based interventions and strategies to address behavioral challenges
- Provide direct behavioral support and intervention to clients in various settings (e.g., home, school, community)
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistency and continuity of care
- Monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed
- Document client progress, behavior observations, and interventions accurately and timely
- Provide training and support to parents, caregivers, and other team members

Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges
- Knowledge of behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Familiarity with assessment tools and data collection methods
- Ability to develop and implement behavior intervention plans
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
