We are is seeking a full-time Communications Specialist IV to support government agency based in Bethesda, MD.

Responsibilities :

• Independently execute technical writing activities in support of the Knowledge Management (KM) strategy, planning, execution, and reporting.
• Develop technical manuals, technical documentation, and training materials in accordance with applicable Government standards
• Work with engineering, logistic and design / drafting personnel to gather data for various manuals and publications
• Provides support by researching, proofreading, editing, creating, writing, processing, revising, formatting, providing quality checks, and coordinating the composition of products for hardcopy and electronic publication, as well as dissemination on multiple platforms
• Drafts and edits a variety of communication materials and products, including but not limited to talking points, speeches, quotes, remarks, leadership communications, marketing copy, newsletter content, website content, and other communications products
• Acquire subject knowledge through stakeholder interviews, observing the performance of mission execution methods, and referring to technical specifications, blueprints, engineering illustrations, and trade journals.
• Complete specific writing assignments in a clear and concise manner
• Maintaining and creating user documentation, test documentation and requirements documentation
• Creation of reports, executive summaries, white papers and PowerPoint Presentations
• Expert experience using MS Office suite, collaboration tools such as MS Teams and SharePoint, as well as Adobe Creative Suite

Qualifications Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in technological writing or related field and three years of related professional experience.
• 4 years relevant experience
