POSITION SUMMARY:

Serve as the on-site lead and oversee daily operations at assigned place of performance. Provide clerical, secretarial, and general personnel support and perform administrative functions in support of the overall operational objectives of Army Military Pay Office (AMPO).

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Tasks include but are not limited to:

• Serve as the on-site lead and oversee daily operations at assigned place of performance.
• Provide general admin, clerical, and secretarial support in support of AMPO.
• Prepare files and maintain physical and/or electronic records and documents in required formats.
• Compile and verify information using simple calculations and standard procedures.
• Input data into a tracking database or system.
• Retrieve documents or respond to requests for information from internal or external customers by phone or e-mail.
• Assist with general office tasks such as copying, mailing, and ordering supplies.
• Communicate and coordinate closely with all customers utilizing exceptional interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, and excellent written and oral communication skills that focus on support requirements.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education:
  • High School Diploma, or a General Education Development (GED) equivalency
• Experience:
  • At least two years of supervisory experience.
  • At least two years of experience performing job duties similar to those described in the position responsibilities.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have the ability to receive and maintain a Tier 3 (T3) Clearance.
• Secret Clearance is preferred but not required.
