What You’ll Do
As the Fleet Service Technician, you will perform preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs on company equipment. You will be responsible for operating and using tools and shop equipment in order to maintain company equipment.
You will serve all internal / external customers in a professional, safe, and efficient manner consistent with ZERO HARM policies and values.
Other duties will include :
- Perform repairs and maintenance on tractors and trailers including oil changes, brake jobs, and PM’s
- Install company required equipment on tractors and trailers
- Maintain maintenance records and vehicle inspection reports in compliance with U.S. DOT requirements
- Organize, prioritize, and be flexible on several projects simultaneously
- Work safely and follow all company policies and procedures
What We’re Looking For :
- High school or greater equivalent preferred
- 4 years experience performing repairs and maintenance on semi-trucks and trailers
- Knowledge of shop equipment and their essential functions
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to read and write in English
- Class B CDL
- Must be certified in Air Brakes and A / C
- Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
