Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with SOX regulations, specifically in the context of Salesforce SOX controls. This role requires a deep understanding of SOX compliance, internal controls, and financial reporting, with a focus on the release management process within Salesforce.

Key Responsibilities:

• SOX Compliance Management: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of SOX compliance programs, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Internal Controls: Design, implement, and test internal controls related to financial reporting and IT processes, specifically within the Salesforce environment.
• Audit Support: Coordinate with internal and external auditors to provide necessary documentation and evidence for SOX compliance audits.
• Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential areas of non-compliance or control weaknesses and recommend remediation actions.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve SOX compliance processes, ensuring they are efficient and effective.
• Training and Awareness: Provide training to team members on SOX requirements and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of SOX controls, processes, and audit findings.

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience in SOX compliance, internal controls, and financial reporting. Experience with Salesforce SOX controls is preferred but not mandatory.
• Certifications: Relevant SOX-related certifications (e.g., CPA, CISA, CIA) are required.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with Salesforce release management processes and tools is a plus.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex systems and processes.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
