We are seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our growing team.

What You Will Do:

Basic shipping responsibilities:

• Package outgoing shipments to ensure safe and secure delivery.
• Build shipping pallets and crates.
• Verify outgoing shipments meet the requirements of the customer purchase order (parts, quantity, documentation, on-time delivery).
• Prepare and maintain required shipping documents and labels; distribute to appropriate parties.
• Assist in coordinating drivers/carriers to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders.
• Make deliveries/pick-ups using company vehicles, as needed.

Basic receiving responsibilities:

· Receive in bound material with proper checks and balances

· Assist with material control

• · Identify and label all raw materials.
• · Pull, issue and deliver raw material (including from quality-controlled areas) to appropriate work orders when directed.
• · Assign location for inventory parts.

· Ability to drive forklift and/or any type of material handling equipment safety and follow dock safety procedures. OSHA training and certification will be provided.

What You Will Bring:

· 3-4 years’ experience in shipping and receiving, packaging, or material handling

· Aerospace or medical manufacturing experience strongly preferred

· Knowledge of routers/travelers and other forms of related paperwork strongly preferred

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

· Ability to work 45 hours each week

· Satisfactory driving record for company insurance purposes. CDL not required.

· Ability to use technology effectively and efficiently

· Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently

· Good organizational skills.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Forklift experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 45 per week
