DZ MOVING is hiring a Business Development manager to drive the company’s sales goals by building relationships, prospecting inbound and outbound leads, and converting leads into customers of DZ MOVING end-to-end delivery, logistics, and warehousing solution.
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our market presence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic business plans to meet company goals. Candidates with home delivery experience and a professional network in the Louisville contract carrier community preferred, but not a requirement
**Duties:**
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
- Lead negotiations with potential clients
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve revenue targets
- Utilize project management skills to oversee business development projects
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities
- Implement strategic planning initiatives to drive business growth
- Utilize software tools, including Salesforce, to track and manage sales activities
- Independent, highly organized, strong self-discipline
**Experience:**
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals effectively
- Proficiency in customer relationship management
- Experience in project management and strategic planning
- Familiarity with sales processes and market dynamics
