Job Description:

Role: Manager of SAP Platform Support

Location: Northbrook, IL or Alpharetta, GA /Onsite

Job type: Full Time/Permanent

Job Overview:

• The SAP Manager is responsible for overseeing the hosted/managed SAP software systems .
• This job requires advanced technical knowledge of SAP ECC6 and the ability to manage projects and teams effectively.
• Required to assess, anticipate and recommend appropriate actions and resources; investigate and understand requirements.
• Acts as a liaison with the teams across regions to ensure consistent adherence to defined standards and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing/Managing all aspects of SAP enhancements and projects
• Coordinating and managing third party vendors and consultants
• Troubleshooting any identified SAP issues and providing backend support
• Gathering business requirements and determining potential solution
• Maintaining updated SAP knowledge skills regarding SAP offerings
• Keeping management informed of potential risks
• Utilizing SAP tools such as LSMW, SAP Query, minor ABAP changes, User maintenance and role management
• Working with Accounting to enhance data access and provide audit support
• Working with the development team to support backend requirements for frontend initiatives
• Providing user training and Instruction regarding better ways to utilize SAP functions and features
• Supporting operations throughout the warehousing process
• Providing timely delivery regarding agreed milestone
• Delivering regular status of project progress and ticket status

Qualifications:

• At least 10 years of experience in SAP
• Strong technical knowledge of SAP systems and potential Integrations, system scalability
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong project management and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Experience level:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
