About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Data Science and Engineering to join their dynamic, fast-growing community. The successful candidate will be responsible for a portfolio of platforms, applications, and services that support the vision of a connected enterprise. This role requires a leader who is passionate about all things data and has a proven track record in enabling digital transformation through the delivery of accurate data and actionable insights. The VP will craft the vision and strategy for data management, integration, innovation, and analytics, and will lead a high-performing team to meet the data integration and business insights needs of the organization.Candidates for this role should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, with a Master's degree being a plus, and at least 15 years' of experience in software development and technology. A strong background in leading technology and engineering teams, as well as hands-on experience with data engineering and machine learning, is essential. The VP will be expected to grow the use of ML and AI algorithms to enhance the customer experience and operational efficiency. Additionally, the role involves leading the enterprise data hub, business intelligence team, and master data management platform, and developing an enterprise data architecture that can support international expansion. The ideal candidate will have a consultative approach, be adept at building relationships with key stakeholders, and have a deep understanding of business operations in a direct selling consumer goods environment.
