GENERAL INFORMATION
Title: Softball JV Head Coach	Department: E.C. Glass High School	Salary Grade: Coach Pay ScaleFLSA Status: Exempt
Site/Location: E.C. Glass High School	Reports to: Athletic Director	Date: 06/18/2024
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for recruiting, teaching, and coaching student athletes in the sport of softball.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Instructs players in the rules, regulations, equipment, and techniques of softball. Organizes and directs individual and small group practice activities/exercises. Assesses player’s skills. Monitors players during competition and practice. Determines game strategy. Supervises athletes during practices and competition.

Past play experience in softball. Preference given to those with coaching experience.
