The main responsibility of the Operations Manager is to manage and coordinate naval operations for general operational efficiency of naval missions and preparedness. These key duties entail the formulation of the strategic plans together with the management of resources towards the overall achievement of the functions of the U. S. Navy. Thus, the candidate should be a leader with operational experience and managerial effectiveness, with the required qualifications of handling work under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• The candidate is responsible for monitoring progress, coordinating requirements with other managers and Team Leaders, and ensuring objectives are accomplished.
• The person in the role is responsible for administering production applications and ensuring that the system is operational and available during hours of operation.
• The OM oversees the following groups; Database Administration Team (DBA), and Configuration Management Team (CM).

Qualifications:

The candidate shall have the following expertise:

• Web application architecture support (JAVA, .Net).
• IBM WebSphere server application 9 or higher.
• RDBMS industry standards and practices.
• IBM’s Rational Suite of Tools.
• SharePoint Development 2019 and higher.
• Remedy 19 or higher * Remedy 7 or higher.
• Net IQ Access Manager 5.01 or higher * ISYS 9.x or higher.
• Tableau.
• Pega Platform.
• Perl, ANT.
• Amazon and Azure GovClouds.
• Crystal Reports 2020 or higher.
• Microsoft Products 2020 or higher.
• SAP Data Services 4.2 or higher.
• SAP Business Objects BI Platform 4.3 or higher.
• Tableau 2022 or higher.
• IBM Message Queue (MQ).
• Infrastructure Monitoring using tools such as Xymon.
• Documentation Development, Control, Management, and Maintenance.
• Software tool development as required by the Government.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $81,000.00 - $84,000.00 per year
