The Shop Supervisor position is another leadership position charged with managing all the contracted maintenance service activities within the Fort Drum, New York. Tasks involved in this position includes management of production control, material ordering, man-hour accounting and, the logistical and inventory system (LIS) actions to ensure that workflow throughout the several sections maintained a sequence.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the designated Shop Supervisor, responsible for directing all contracted maintenance service operations, including production control, material ordering, man-hour accounting, and LIS actions.
• Utilize the Army's current system of record, Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-A), to maintain oversight on workflow efficiency and ensure the continuity of contractor category sections.
• Confirm the completion of all work orders and ensure that all maintenance services are performed to the required standards.
• Direct Repair Part and Shop Stock management, ensuring timely and accurate inventory control.
• Manage and direct the efforts of Production Control Clerks, providing leadership and guidance to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Be present at all times during the performance of contract services, ensuring that all contractor personnel are properly supervised and that all operations are running smoothly.
• Maintain clear communication with the Contracting Officer, providing regular updates on maintenance operations, workflow efficiency, and any issues that may arise.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL Class A and B are mandatory.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a maintenance or logistics environment, preferably within the DoD or a military setting.
• Strong knowledge of the Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-A).
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
