A vacancy announcement for the Information Technology (IT) Subject Matter Expert (SME) is issued in the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP). The listed position demand one with prior experience in IT project, systems analysis, IT security, and compliance. The candidate is expected to give the strategic and technical leadership to transform and strengthen BEP’s IT environment, as well as compliance to federal rules.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Conduct comprehensive systems' analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization of BEP's IT systems.

Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect BEP's information assets. Ensure compliance with federal security standards and guidelines (e.g., FISMA, NIST, HIPAA).

• Ensure all IT systems and processes comply with relevant regulations and policies, including the Federal Records Act (FRA) and the Digital Accountability and Transparency Act (DATA Act).
• Identify, assess, and mitigate IT-related risks. Develop and implement risk management strategies to protect BEP's IT infrastructure.
• Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for complex IT issues.
• Maintain detailed documentation of IT systems, processes, and compliance activities. Generate regular reports to senior management and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:

• IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC).
• Minimum of three 3 years’ experience in the field of Accessibility Program Implementation.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
