This position is for an experienced Supply Chain Operations Production Specialist role to join a growing aerospace team with As an important part of the Supplier Management Services team here at, you will actively be providing critical value to our customers by helping to ensure their suppliers deliver aerospace components to meet operational goals.

This role will work with the team, as well as our major aerospace customer, to coordinate with their operations team, planning team, site cell team, and Tiger team to understand risks, perform analysis, identify bottleneck, measure/track performance, and actively drive improvement strategies. You will focus on the dissemination of information pertaining to manufacturing and assembly, process and product improvements, customer, and program requirements.

This is an onsite position at the Rockford, Illinois location.

Primary Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Customer Supply Chain Managers, Operations, and Planners to understand critical manufacturing parts, escalate issues, identify improvement opportunities, and generate priorities based on business unit and site needs.

Work with operations and planning team to coordinate the material movement of critical components, review recovery plans, improve on time delivery, drive accountability, and expedite outside processing.

Utilize Gemba / Tier meetings and production cadences to provide 2-way dialogue bringing forward value stream needs or priorities while highlighting critical issues impacting plant site ability to perform.

Participate in daily War Room at the RKFD Delivery Command Center and support the CSM Ops Leaders in the plant site monthly commit process.

Utilize X-Chart information to identify material shortages and create Lines of Balance (LOBs).

Support and assist in the prioritization of requirements withing the plant sites, e.g., FAIs, QN, etc.

Coordinate with the other plant site OPMs withing the same Tiger Team to ensure visibility and removal of risk in support of the entire value chain.

Participate in value stream strategic alignment with Operations Lads, and OCMS.

Adhere to import, export, and procurement regulations.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and year(s) of relevant experience (Supply Chain domain).

Aerospace industry experience.

SAP and Excel experience.

Bilingual, able to speak and understand Spanish (Puerto Rican)

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of supply chain management, operations, production planning.

Exposure to project or program management.

Exposure to engineering and quality processes.

Knowledge of various manufacturing processes.

Knowledge of LEAN.

An ability to build positive intercompany relationships.

Outstanding communication and reporting skills.

An ability to work independently without day-to-say supervision.
