Overview

The Business Analyst must possess the demonstrated ability to perform basic quantitative analysis with the ability to gather, document, analyze data and information.Improves and supports business activities of assigned department through analysis of objectives, goals and customer needs. They will be planning and executing a course of action based on sound business decisions, and they will work to effectively identify potential cost-saving opportunities. 

This is an on-site/in-office opportunity, M-F, 7am-4pm PST.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Meter Service Requests (MSR) management including, posting and documenting inspections, customer applications.
• Pre‐set meter management.
• MSR exception management.
• Meter/MSR related reporting- SLA (Service-level agreement), Public Authority.
• Gathers documents and researches data on assigned topics, using databases, files, spreadsheets, or other sources as needed.
• Deals regularly with information and issues having a minor to moderate department and/or corporate impact.

Qualifications

Required Technical Skills:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• The candidate will possess one (1) to three (3) years of experience in the field of analysis.
• Experience in administrative role
• Experience with customer service, computer software, on‐line applications, office equipment, and filing systems
• Work order package splitting and preparation for construction and inspection
• Provides information and support to the District and Hub, as needed

Desired Skills:

• Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Knowledge of department policies, practices, and procedures.

Wage Data Per State Requirements

The salary range for this position is $53,300.00 - $66,310.00. The starting salary will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.
