E78 Partners is Hiring a Financial Advisory Executive Vice President of Sales Near Brook, IL

About the Role

The Executive Vice President of Sales drives our sales strategy and execution. They are responsible for overseeing and leading the sales function across their business vertical, developing, and implementing effective sales plans and processes, acquiring new clients, expanding existing relationships, cross-selling throughout our two business units, and achieving or exceeding E78's financial targets. This role reports directly to the Finance & Transformation Executive Managing Director with a skip-level relationship to the Chief Operating Officer.

Expectations & Duties

Leadership and Team Development

· Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing sales team consisting of Account Executives and BDR's.

· Establish and monitor sales metrics, KPIs, and quotas to ensure optimal performance and accountability.

· Develop target list criteria for Business Development Representatives (BDR)'s and Heads of Sales to execute MQLs and SQLs

Client Management

· Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for growth and generate new customer acquisition opportunities across the industry verticals, subsectors, and segments of the market.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers in the financial advisory industry.

· Cross sell and upsell E78's products and services across existing and potential clients.

· Negotiate and close complex and strategic deals with clients and partners.

Technical Expertise

· Collaborate with other senior leaders and stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of sales objectives and initiatives with the company's overall goals and strategies.

· Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for growth and generate new customer acquisition opportunities across the industry verticals, subsectors, and segments of the market.

· Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to identify and capitalize on new opportunities and challenges.

Business Development

· Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets and create and maintain a robust sales pipeline.

· Generate new customer acquisition opportunities across the industry verticals, subsectors, and segments of the market the practice is focused on

· Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.

Required Education & Experience

· Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred.

· At least 12 years of proven sales leadership experience in the financial advisory industry, with a track record of exceeding sales targets and growing market share.

· Strong knowledge of the financial advisory market, products, services, and regulations.

· Experience managing private equity relationships.

· Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to inspire, motivate, and empower a diverse and distributed sales team.

· Ability to think strategically, analytically, and creatively, and to solve complex problems.

· Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing situations.

· High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards.

· Willingness to travel frequently as required.
