We have partnered with a PE-owned manufacturing client in the Greater Chicago / Rockford, Illinois area. They are looking for a strong hands-on Controller who can lead a small team responsible for everyday accounting and finance including GL Accounting, month-end close as well as standard cost accounting, AP/AR analysis, preparing opening balance sheets, etc.

Responsibilities/Qualifications:

• Manufacturing
• Standard costing
• Experience in a PE backed organization
• Smaller company experience - this is where the hands-on piece comes into play
• Ability to roll up your sleeves and perform all the accounting tasks
• Assist with opening balance sheet & validate inventory balances and counts
• AR/AP/Inventory Analysis
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance required
