Job Title: Medical Assistant

Location: Edmonds, WA 98026

Duration: 3 Months Contract-to-Hire

Shift: M-F 8:30- 5:00pm

Job Description:

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Rooming, histories, vitals
• Lots of in-office procedures, setting up for procedures, sterile/autoclave, assisting with procedures in-office, sterilization post procedure etc.
• epic charting
• in-basket work in EPIC
• follow-up on procedures/patient questions
• paperwork and referrals processing
• prior authorizations

Clinical Specific Information (providers, patient volumes, team vs. one on one):

• This clinic has providers who work at this clinic specializing in cardiology, among other specialties. These providers do quite a few in office procedures, so they need someone who will be hands on and can work in a fast paced environment.

Must Haves:

• Must have MA experience, ideally in a specialty setting
• MA-C
• Cardiology, EKG experience
• EPIC

Preferred Skills:

• Cardiology or related background

Target Years of Experience:

• 2-5 years

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
