Summary:

Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the building, loading, verification, and checking-in of inventory and those individuals involved with the identified processes.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Hires and trains new employees
• Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of assigned staff
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
• Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy

Primary Duties:

• Manage a group of warehouse technicians, loader/validator, receiver and other warehouse personnel
• Work proactively with sales representatives and delivery operations to understand the needs of the customers and sales force
• Coach, lead and develop warehouse technicians to support the sales organization and improve daily productivity
• Conduct team meetings and safety training to ensure that preventive measures are enforced
• Conduct regular performance appraisals with team
• Conduct daily warehouse inventory counts and validate against computer generated reports
• Ensure completion and accuracy of load building and returns
• Manage a team utilizing performance measures to track and improve warehouse operations
• Oversee and manage the stock rotation of all products using the code date policies
• Monitor the repack area to be sure product is properly accounted for and quality standards maintained
• Check in breakage, mis-picks and trades as necessary

· Check emails and review all company technology (i.e. Trello, Slack) and respond to all company correspondence daily

• Other duties as assigned

Additional Skills:

· Excellent verbal and written communications skills

· Self-motivated and results oriented

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software

· Able to attend all required meetings / trainings

· Complete all assigned ABU training

Requirements:

· Must be 21 years of age or older

· High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor's Degree a plus

· Able to work under minimal supervision

· 2 years of general management and/or 4 years of warehouse experience preferred

· Able to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings and weekends

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to lift, push, pull, load, unload, and move product that weighs up to 60 lbs. frequently and up to 160 lbs. occasionally

· Safely operate warehouse equipment including powered hand trucks, sit down fork trucks, and pallet riders.

· Repetitive lifting, bending, pulling and pushing

· Ability to twist, turn, crouch, and squat repeatedly throughout the workday

· Ability to work in a refrigerated and traditional warehouse setting
