Who we're looking for

We are seeking a part-time manager that will be responsible for executing daily security tasks, helping customers by providing product and service information and resolving technical issues. This is for a 20-hour week position which will also double as a relief manager, meaning that you will fill in our office position as other managers are taking time off. There will be up to 2 weeks of full time work at a time so the right candidate needs to be flexible with their schedule. This position can work well with someone who is in college or will be starting college online, at UAA or at Mat-Su College. If full time work is in your future, this position does have potential to turn into a full time job within 12 months or less.

Responsibilities:

• Handle customer inquiries and complaints
• Provide information about storage solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns
• Document and update customer records based on interactions
• Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services
• Develop and maintain a friendly relationship with new and existing customers
• Attend weekly team meetings on Wednesday mornings

• Be a people person (know that your smile is contagious)
• Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Positive and professional demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both with a team and independently
• Be willing to work outside of the office when needed (shoveling snow/sweeping units)

Experience:

One year of customer service is preferred, but not required. If you can prove that you have the problem solving, positive attitude and dependability qualities we need that a business like us will benefit from, we can work with you, but you must be coach-able and a quick learner.

Hours:

20 hours per week. Starting schedule will be 2 full days (8:30am-5pm) during the week and a half day on rotating Saturdays 2x a month (10am-2pm) . Applicant must have an open schedule M-F as full weeks of work will be offered as other team members are out of town. The first week of training will contain a full week of half day work. Full weeks can be assigned as soon as training is complete and you feel confident to help customers.

Compensation:

You will start between $15-$20/hour depending on:

• Problem solving skills
• Ability to learn and retain information well
• How efficiently you train

We offer monthly bonuses to all managers (part time and full time) based on Key Performance Indicators.
