Education
Accredited Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering - preference to be in one of the following fields

• Mechanical
• Chemical
• Electrical
• Industrial
• Mining

Desired Work Experience and Specific Skill Set

• Minimum ten (10) years' experience in managing and leading capital projects in the heavy industrial manufacturing area.
• Demonstrated responsibility in management and execution of projects greater than 5 million dollars.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Contract negotiations and management.
• Schedule development and management.
• Capital cost estimating (Engineering, Equipment and Construction).
• Knowledge of MSHA/OSHA safety standards.
• Knowledge of applicable design and building codes.
• General process understanding of heavy industrial manufacturing equipment.
• General understanding of environmental compliance standards (Air, water, etc.).
• General understanding of construction specifications.
• Multi-discipline experience related to: Geotech, Electrical, Controls, Civil, Mechanical.
• Experience in reviewing work products in 2D and 3D.
• Construction management and commissioning
• Project justification development.
• Risk management.
• Capital project development (concept, justification, scope of work, design, procurement, construction, commissioning)
• Demonstrated communication skills. (Status reporting, meeting facilitating, action lists, etc.)
• Highly organized and self-directed.
