Overview

Eagle Integrated Services is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Analyst to provide comprehensive analytical and research support to the speechwriting team for the Director of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). The Research Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring that the Director's speeches are well-researched, accurate, relevant, actionable, and persuasive. This position requires a deep understanding of DLA’s operations and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear and compelling narratives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assisting speechwriter with speeches and/or talking points for public appearances, meetings, and strategic speaking engagements.
2. Edits content to reflect current messaging and the “voice” of senior leaders.
3. Ability to generate quality written material, grammatically correct and appropriate for the targeted audience.
4. Works with Strategic Initiatives Group (SIG) staff or other senior staff during the preparation, review, editing and approval process to produce high-quality final products.
5. Works with stakeholders and key participants to ensure effective gathering of information for speech writing products.
6. Maintains a comprehensive electronic archive of speeches, remarks, and presentations, both as prepared and as delivered.
7. Works closely with the SIG leadership team to develop messaging for DLA’s priorities and initiatives.
8. Drafts and/or edit RTS emails, program letters, and other content and ensure it aligns with DLA messaging.
9. Maintains awareness of OSD Strategic communications, news, initiatives, and events that will inform remarks and other written content.
10. Other duties as assigned by Leadership commensurate with responsibilities that would typically be assigned to a Business Analyst.

Qualifications

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum of three years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, or a related field.
• At least three years of experience consulting, advising, and working with federal government customers.
• Proven ability to secure a CAC and DLA systems access on the first day of work.
• Skills and Competencies:
• Advanced knowledge of data analysis, research methodologies, and statistical techniques.
• Proficiency in data mining, predictive modeling, simulation, and data visualization tools.
• Strong strategic planning, performance management, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Clearance Requirement

The candidate must possess a current Secret clearance and be able to maintain it throughout employment.
