Title: Special Education Teacher- Resource for 2024-2025 School Year
Location: White Mountain Middle School
Supervisor: Principal or designee
Contract Days: 194 days to begin August 22, 2024
Salary Range: No less than $45,635 - $89,065 plus master's stipend of $2,282 (depending upon approved previous experience and graduate level credits). Special Education Teachers receive a Federal Compliance Stipend of $3,000 each year

This position requires an Oregon Special Education Generalist license or equivalent, or the ability to obtain same license prior to the start date. Applicants who are bilingual in Spanish are encouraged to apply.

The ideal applicant will have demonstrated skills in specifically designed instruction in reading, math, behavior and social skills and life skills for special education students. A desire to collaborate with other educators and agencies, as well as the ability to maintain and adapt existing curricula to meet the ever changing needs of our students is required. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using a variety of pedagogical and assessment tools, have a passion for educating ALL STUDENTS, and a willingness to be involved in the school community beyond the classroom setting.
