Air Vehicle Level 3 IPTL, Specialist/Journeyman:

Job Responsibilities:

Position directly supports the H-53 Heavy Lift Helicopters Program Office (PMA-261). Duties primarily involve serving as an Air Vehicle Level 3 Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) supporting related PM duties to include program management guidance, leadership skills, ability to build and maintain a robust team to achieve fleet mission requirements, and meet cost, schedule, and performance goals. Other duties include: development and coordination of program documentation, requirement documents, program plans, and costs; participating in risk management working groups; using experience/knowledge of budget sheets (P-40/P3a)) while facilitating NAVAIR obligation and expenditure policies; managing and tracking spend plans and data calls associated with the Program, Planning and Budgeting System (PPBS); and overseeing procurements using the Program Management Tool (PMT) including generation and tracking of PMT actions/milestones. Position is located in Patuxent River, MD, and includes a hybrid work environment (telework and in-office). Requisition ESI0096.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• A BA/BS degree and three (3) to ten (10) years of experience within program/project management. ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: AA/AS degree with an additional two (2) years of experience OR a high school diploma/GED and an additional four (4) years of experience.
• Must have Program Management experience as well as knowledge of PM related tools, such as AMS PMT and MS Project.
• Familiarization with NAVAIR Program Management processes and doctrines (DoD 5000.2, SECNAV 5000.2C, and NAVAIR Acquisition Guide), as well as NAVAIR contract documentation structure and management, is highly preferred.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and have an active Secret Level DoD security clearance.
