Drive customer satisfaction and maintain process effectiveness during the order process cycle, from start to finish.
Act as the primary liaison between EagleBurgmann and its customers.
Identify, escalate, and resolve issues, which might affect customer satisfaction and EagleBurgmann’s operational targets.
Work cross-functionally with sales, engineering and operation teams while owning the project management and implementation process for EagleBurgmann.
Monitor, minimize and mitigate all hand-offs and queue times during order processing to ensure there is no risk to steps being missed or lost.
Develop strong relationships with customers and sales personnel. Create a strong foundation based on trust through strong communication, early, frequent and accurate updates.
Read and understand engineered drawings with metric and imperial dimensions.
Clarify discrepancies or unclear information between purchase orders, RFQs, drawings, technical information and quality levels.
Document control, including verification of work scope, pricing, costs and quality needs.
Frequently coordinate with global EagleBurgmann subsidiaries.
Prepare and update reporting to show progress and status of all open orders on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Any other job functions as assigned to support the team and the organization.
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline.
5-7 years of Project Manager experience in engineering and production environment.
Experience with Mechanical Seals and/or rotating equipment.
Experience in an engineered to order manufacturing environment.
Knowledge and experience with SAP and/or comparable MRP systems.
Microsoft Office suite with a focus on Excel, Project and report making.
Ability to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision.
Ability to multi-task, managing multiple projects and competing tasks within given budget and time frame.
Takes ownerships of tasks assigned and have a strong customer centric mindset.
Detailed oriented with outstanding organization skills, time management skills and communications skills
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Travel may be required, 25% of time.
PPE must be worn in manufacturing areas.
