Our Cook’s Assistant position offers year round employment, from 7:30 a.m.to 12:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. Excellent benefit package includes health and dental insurance, life insurance, retirement match, generous paid holidays, vacation, personal and sick time.

Pay range is $15.74 - $17.02 per hour, commensurate with experience.

The Cook’s Assistant reports to the Lead Cook and is part of our agency team. Primary tasks are helping with meal preparation for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, food deliveries to multiple sites, serving meals and collecting meal service items, kitchen clean-up as well as other tasks as assigned by the Lead Cook.

Our candidates must have a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and be willing to drive our agency van for food deliveries as well as occasional trips to the store. Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds. Background check and fingerprinting is required along with a pre-employment physical and TB screening questionnaire.
