Seeking an RBT or BT ( Behavior technician) with ABA experience for 1:1 direct service in Dutchess County, New York.

Home, school and clinic based services are needed in the mornings, daytime, and afternoon hours. Opportunities range from 10 to 30 hours weekly. 2 (R)BTs to work full days on weekends, and two (R)BTs with full day and after school availability (20-35 hrs).

Job Description: Our professional RBTs, Behavior Technicians work under the close, ongoing supervision of a BCBA and provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment to individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder; as well as other diagnoses, in home, community, school and Clinic settings. The treatment is individualized to meet the needs of each individual. Behavior Technicians work in a team environment while working one-on-one with clients carrying out programs designed by a Licensed Behavior Analyst (BCBA), as well as communicate daily with parents. 40 hour online and on-the-job training is provided under the supervision of a Licensed Behavior Analyst on the principles and procedures of behavior analysis, data collection procedures, and the implementation of skill acquisition and behavior reduction interventions.

Early Interventions LBA offers health, dental and vision for those who meets specific criteria of employment.

Qualifications: Experience working with children, or working with individuals with autism or other disabilities. For those interested in working with adolescents, we look for previous experience with this population. Attention to detail and good communication skills are essential. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb a flight of stairs, as well as be able to bend, squat and get up and down from off the floor, all with ease. High school diploma required. Associates degree is preferred but not required.
