Earnest Machine is Hiring a Sales Manager, Specials Near Rocky, OH

Earnest is looking to add a Sales Manager to run our Specials Department. This person handles our more complex and intricate customer needs and increases our catalog by researching items not previously sold by EMP. This role is dedicated to selling most non-core, per print, specials.Once the quote is received, this position will interact with customer(s) and determinethe exact needs to facilitate speed to serve. The Sales Manager willhelp manageour currentcustomers' enquiries, build a supply base to support and quote these items complete, and find new opportunities in markets that are currently not being serviced by Earnest Machine Products.

We have seen significant growth in this side of the business in the last year. This is an incredible opportunity for someone who likes to build teams and business units. This role is a true hunter of sales, never satisfied and always hungry.

What you’ll do:

  • Own relationships from start to finish within the Specials arm of the business.
  • Take prints and bring the customer vision and needs to reality.
  • Effectively cost out customer needs and quote whenappropriate.
  • Partner with our Supply Chain and Purchasing team to manage the entire product process.
  • Managerelationships with our third-partysuppliers, seeking new suppliers when necessary to maximize cost, improve customer experience and limit risk to Earnest Machine.
  • Drive the growth and development of your team through supportive management and mentorship.

What you’ll bring

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Fastener / machined part Sales.
  • Deep understanding of the fastener machining and secondary processes.
  • Experience in costing complex parts and programs.
  • Experience working with a high growthdistribution organization
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced environment, comfortable with ambiguity, and enjoys an environment of active growth and change.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Experience reading complex engineering prints with the ability to suggest alternative options to customers.
