Job Description:

East Coast Yacht Sales (ECYS) is looking to add another enterprising and industrious yacht sales profession in Annapolis, MD. ECYS doesn't consider this a sales job, this is a Yacht Sales Consultant position where this candidate needs to have EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE and KNOWLEDGE within the MARINE INDUSTRY to properly educate and guide out customers within the yacht purchase and/or selling process and beyond. ECYS will provide the tools and support necessary for an entrepreneurial candidate to find success in an ever-changing industry. We reppresent exciting and innovative new boat brands in the market, as well as quality brokerage boats. When on the ECYS team, this canddidate will have the oppportunity to attend boat shows, have access to our aggressive new boat inventory levels and take addvantage of other inter-company resources. This is a commission based position and we are looking for a HIGHLY MOTIVATED MARINE PROFESSION who values HARD WORK, HIGH REWARD and LONG-TERM CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS.

Responsibilities:

• Represent ECYS in helping people buy new boats
• Represent ECYS in helping people buy and sell quality brokerage boats
• Foster relationships with new and existing customers
• Educate customers to allow them to make their best buying decisions
• Become a resource for our customers beyond the transaction to foster long-term relationships
• Keep CRM up to date to keep your opportunities organized
• Creatively list and market both new and brokerage vessels to drive new business. Must be comfortable creating content including but not limited to video, articles, photos to help inspire customers to enjoy the water

Requirements:

• At least 3 years’ experience in the marine industry
• Strong marketing abilities
• Self-motivated
• Eager to continue learning more about the marine industry
• Ability to develop relationships with new and old clients
• Strong negotiation skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
