East Mississippi State Hospital is Hiring a Social Worker Near Meridian, MS
- Establish contact with assigned residents within 24 hours of admission or transfer to determine and document whether an advance directive has been executed.
- Assist care plan team with placement/discharge planning. Both assessments will be updated quarterly and annually
- Serve on the treatment team, make recommendations for interdisciplinary treatment planning for residents and report their observations to nursing
- Provide supportive services for residents and their responsible parties
- Assist in management and use of funds belonging to the IRS so their needs are met
- Maintain competence in social work practice. Attend in-services and trainings as they come up and abide by the NASW code of ethics
