POSITION: Fertilization Service Technician servicing Key West and lower Keys

JOB DESCRIPTION: Will work with a crew that services lawn and gardens throughout Key West, Lower Keys, of Monroe county, Florida. Will apply nutritional sprays, granular or liquid fertilizers, weed control and various other products on residential and commercial properties.

· Has Technical ability. This is very important, you will be dealing with machinery, chemicals, pesticides, measuring products, calibrating equipment and working on electronic tablets.

· Labor intensive job: able to pull hoses upwards to 300 feet around properties while spraying lawn and ornamentals at the same time. Able to carry bags of fertilizers up to 50lbs and can work outdoors the whole day and endure working in heat.

· Able to wear PPE (personal protective equipment such as mask and respirator)

· Doesn't require any pest control or fertilization experience. We provide on the job training.

· You must be responsible, courteous, clean cut and on time.

· Must have a valid Florida driver’s license able to drive a truck.

· OUTDOORS: able to work outdoors, starting 7:30 AM until late afternoon
· DRESS CODE: long hair must be tied back, no body piercing during work hours, beard very close cut so mask has a tight fit.

· TESTS: DRUG testing and a BACKGROUND check will be performed. A FIT test will also be performed to make sure you are able to breathe properly through a mask.

· PAY/BENEFITS: starting pay at $20.00 per hour, with no medical insurance or no paid holidays.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
