WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

The Neuropsychology department provides comprehensive outpatient pediatric and adult neuropsychological evaluations and is an integral component of our medical rehabilitation program. This position will have an emphasis on the provision of outpatient neuropsychological evaluation services to children and adolescents, with opportunities to also work with young adults through geriatrics if interested. We serve a diverse patient population presenting with a wide range of concerns, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, learning disabilities, chromosomal abnormalities, brain injury, neoplasms, and other neurologic conditions (e.g., stroke, epilepsy, dementias of various etiologies, etc.), in addition to various psychological and co-morbid disorders. Clinical responsibilities also include provision of feedback to patients and families, and participating in weekly group supervision/didactics. Supervision opportunities with graduate students and postdoctoral fellows may be available.

YOU’RE A GREAT MATCH FOR OUR TEAM IF YOU HAVE:

The ideal candidate would be a clinician with excellent diagnostic conceptualization, report-writing skills, time management, and interpersonal communication skills. Requirements include a doctoral degree in Psychology from an APA or CPA accredited program, completion of a 2-year postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology, and Connecticut psychology licensure or license eligibility. Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder is preferred, though not required. Early career neuropsychologists and candidates fluent in Spanish are encouraged to apply.
