Wage: $40.00/hr.

The Director is responsible for ensuring program integrity and effectively and efficiently leading the business and program operations of Montana Adult and Community Services (MTACS) with the engaged support of the management team. The individual is responsible for ensuring compliance and fiscal accountability through the understanding of the entire MTACS operations and programming, including Day Services, Supported Living, Outsources Services, Employment Services, Production Services, and Janitorial Services. Provides strategic direction and oversight for all areas of MTACS. 

The Director will demonstrate strong leadership skills, hold extensive knowledge of DD services, and will foster an inclusive culture of celebration and success for MTACS staff and clients. They will execute program expansion initiatives that include client recruitment to increase census in all services rendered and development of innovative client services. The Director will be responsible for increasing the organization in scope and reputation and serves as a professional representative of the organization externally within the communities in which MTACS works to advance the mission of the organization.

Works with minimal supervision to ensure systems are in place so operations run smooth and align with MTACS and funding source requirements. Works closely with AVP of Adult and Community Services, ESGW support departments, and other key leadership staff as needed. Must understand contracts and grant administration, and ensure compliance with all operational requirements, performance standards, and deadlines set forth in agreements affecting MTACS.

Direct reports: Community Supports Manager, Employment Services Manager, Business Operations Manager

Requirements

  • Excellent oral, written, organizational, and record keeping skills required.
  • Demonstrated organizational leadership skills
  • Proficiency with data analysis
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and ability to learn proprietary software programs required by ESGW and/or state of Montana.
  • Specific knowledge of current MT DDP, Medicaid Waiver and VR requirements and processes preferred.
  • Pass DMV check annually and maintain current Montana Driver’s License.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community.
  • Applicant must be physically and mentally able to perform all requirements of the job.

Experience

  • High School/Equivalent
  • Preferred – Degree in Human Services or related field
  • 5 years
  • Full time work experience in related human service field
