The Facilities and Safety Manager is responsible for leading the safety and compliance initiatives at ESW. Ensures the ESW staff are trained and meet health and safety metrics as required by the State of WY, CARF and ESGW. Ensures that ESGW facilities, both owned and leased, are maintained to organizational and regulatory standards and any issues in the maintenance log is addressed in a timely fashion. Conducts monthly health and safety inspections and provides reports on any issues that are not in compliance and provides swift resolution.
This position ensures the ESW fleet of vehicles are maintained per ESGW standards at all times and all logs are completed and submitted in a timely fashion. Responsible for coordinating, organizing, and maintaining a schedule of transportation for the people served, scheduling (ESW) vehicle maintenance and ensuring legal and licensing requirements are met; conducting daily, routine, scheduled safety checks of ESW properties to ensure a safe environment for people served, staff and guests.
Develops and implements monthly safety drills as outlined by the State of Wyoming, CARF and ESGW. Negotiates and serves as the primary contact for vendors servicing the facilities in Sheridan, WY, for landscaping, HVAC, and fire systems.
Performs daily, routine, scheduled, and as needed maintenance services of ESW owned and leased properties to ensure facilities are in good repair and meet regulatory standards. Conducts ESHS reviews of HUD properties to ensure they are able to pass any external or internal audits. Works with residents and renters to ensure apartments receive regular and emergency repairs, as needed. Provides guidance to any residents whose apartments do not meet their rental agreements. Schedules and supports work teams in maintaining janitorial services of ESGW owned and leased properties to ensure facilities are clean and sanitary and meet regulatory standards. Serves as a member of the ESW management team and participates in on-call, as requested. Provides Direct Service for clients as needed.
This position requires superior customer service, exceptional attention to detail, ability to juggle competing priorities, timely documentation practices and ability to connect positively with all levels of staff and persons served.
